Simulation Australia will provide administrative support services to the SIG as follows:
- Membership inquiries and processing of new members
- Annual membership renewal processes
- Lists of new, renewing and terminated members
- Access to the Simulation Australia membership database containing details of SIG members
- Accounts management including incorporation into Simulation Australia's accounts

Services and Funding
- The SIG has significant autonomy to identify what additional services they will provide to their members, and what SIG Membership Fees they will charge for their services (which will be in addition to the Simulation Australia membership fees that are paid by all members)
- The SIG will receive operating income from two sources:
- SIG Membership Fees - set by the SIG
- SimTecT Surplus - a proportion of SimTecT Surplus funds, allocated to the SIG based on some quantifiable criteria e.g. their delegate attendance at SimTecT.
- Additional funding may also be made available by the Peak Body to assist the SIGs in expanding their service offering i.e. developing additional services. Allocation of funding for a specific service expansion initiative would be based on:
- Development and approval of a business case
- The assumption of no long-term recurring cost to Simulation Australia
- The Simulation Australia Simulation Committees and Programs e.g. SimTecT Organizing Committee, Professional Certification, Professional Development, Standards will operate as cost centres of Simulation Australia.
