Joint Project 3028 Phase 1 (JP 3028-1) is the Defence Simulation Program, introduced in the 2009-19 Defence Capability Plan (DCP) to achieve 'an increase in the use of Navy, Army, Air Force and Joint simulation to enhance capability, reduce risk, and save resources'.
JP 3028-1 is an Acquisition Strategy (ACAT) Complexity Level 2 project with estimated phase expenditure of $500m-$1500m (towards the lower end of the band).
JP 3028-1 will deliver a variety of simulation services, systems and supporting infrastructure.
