Banners may be hung from the ceiling above the booths, but as there are some logistic issues (such as heaters, and supports), this must be arranged through SBX before 21 May 2001.

Cost from SBX is approximately $250 for a 3m x 5m banner.

Company / Product Information Presentations

Exhibitors and Major Sponsors are entitled to present product or company information in a dedicated, furnished meeting room equipped with full audio visual facilities (Data projector and whiteboard) for presentations, tea / coffee etc.

Bookings for 30-minute slots may be made at the Conference Registration Desk.

The company is then responsible for advising prospective attendees.

The SimTecT 2001 Conference Organising Committee invites you to participate in another successful SimTecT Conference taking place in Australia’s Capital City.

In making a commitment to become an exhibitor your company will be assured of high profile exposure to the international simulation community who have rated SimTecT a high point in the international calendar. SimTecT 2001, located at The Exhibition Park In Canberra (EPIC), will attract visitors to Canberra who want to know more about the latest technology, research and application of simulation in their businesses.

SimTecT 2001 will have special appeal to practitioners in fields such as:

The Conference is being promoted broadly throughout Australia and internationally through simulation associations and organisations in Europe, Asia and North America. The venue is 15 minutes from the main business and government precincts in Canberra. Senior government department officers and Defence VIPs will be invited to attend keynote addresses and tour the Exhibition.

Monday 28 May – Thursday 31 May 2001

Venue

The Exhibition Park In Canberra (EPIC), Flemington Road, Mitchell, ACT, is located about 10 minutes drive north of the city centre, just off Northbourne Avenue.

The attached floorplan has been designed to ensure good visibility and access to all stands. Maximum traffic flow will be encouraged by the placement of catering stations at key points in the exhibition areas as well as by constant referral.

A dedicated Company/Product information presentation room has been arranged for Major Sponsors and Exhibitors. This furnished meeting room will contain a data projector and whiteboard for presentations. There is also scope for hospitality arrangements to be included in this room.

There are a maximum of 63 exhibition booths available and all morning, afternoon teas and lunches will be held in the Exhibition areas.

The Welcome Reception will be held in and around the Exhibition.

The Conference Dinner will be held at New Parliament House on Wednesday 30 May 2001.

Lights and power 2 x 150 watt lights per stand and lights are mounted on the inside of the
front fascia. One single power point – 1,000 watts (4amps) capacity

Welcome Reception An invitation is extended by the Conference Committee, for two people
per exhibition booth booked to attend the Welcome Reception as their
guests on Monday 28 May 2001

Floor Plan

The Exhibition is constructed by SBX Pty Ltd. Hire of furniture, audio visual and plants may be booked direct with SBX Pty Ltd. All details will be sent to you upon receipt of booking.

"Move-in/ Move-out" times

Move in: Sunday 27 May from 9am

Move out: Thursday 31 May from 3pm

SBX Pty Ltd Exhibition staff will be on site during the Sunday exhibitor move-in period to ensure that the final exhibitor’s requirements can be met.

 

Exhibition hours

The exhibition will be officially opened during morning tea on 28 May 2001 and the exhibition hours will be:

28 May 9.00am-8.00pm

29-30 May 10.00am-6.00pm

31 May 8.00am-3.00pm

 

How to book and details of payment deadlines

Exhibition

Early booking is necessary, as space is limited, and booths will be allocated strictly in order of the date the deposit payment and Application to Exhibit form is received. In order to confirm your exhibition space we will require the Application to Exhibit form and fifty percent (50%) deposit payment to be forwarded by return mail. Confirmation of the order must be received by 1 March 2001.

Cheques should be made payable to SimTecT, and forwarded to the Conference Secretariat*, ConSec – Conference Management, PO Box 3127, Belconnen Delivery Mail Centre ACT 2617 Australia.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of withdrawal of Dinner sponsorship, Welcome Reception sponsorship, or exhibition booth booking please be advised that unless that particular area of sponsorship/booth is resold, the conference will reserve the right to retain deposit monies received.

Cancellation policy

In the case of cancellation of a booth/s please be advised that unless the organisers are able to resell the booth/s there will be no refund on monies paid. If the balance payment on the booth/s is not received by the due date, the allocated booth/s may be cancelled.
