The Technical Committee makes two awards: One for the Best Paper content; and the other for Best Presentation.

Call for Abstracts

About SimTecT

Held under the auspices of the Simulation Industry Association of Australia, SimTecT brings together key people from industry, academia and government agencies to explore current and future developments in simulation and training.

As well as the main technical conference there will be:
  • special interest group workshops,
  • technical tutorials,
  • site visits plus
  • an exhibition of the latest simulation, modelling and training technologies.
A social program has been designed to foster networking between all participants.

Fri 20 Oct 2000 Last date for abstract submission
Fri 3 Nov 2000 Abstracts accepted / rejected (The intention is for abstracts to be accepted / rejected as they are submitted.)
Fri 5 Jan 2001 Last date for Peer Review paper submission
Fri 6 Apr 2001 Last date for normal paper submission
Mon 16 Apr 2001 Last date for presenters to register for Conference (Early Bird Registration cut-off)
Mon 28 May 2001 Presenters / Session Chairs’ Briefing
28 - 31 May 2001 SimTecT Conference

Papers are invited in the following general areas:

  8. Applications

If you have a paper which you think would be suitable for SimTecT but which doesn't appear to fit any of these categories, please contact the abstracts co-ordinator.
