The SimTecT 2007 Conference Organising Committee invites you to participate in the SimTecT 2007 Conference in Brisbane, Australia.

Brisbane

Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, is central to Australia’s fastest growing metropolitan region, South East Queensland, and occupies 1,140 square kilometres. Brisbane is located close to other leading cities in the Asia Pacific region.

Brisbane has more sunny days than Florida and warmer winter days than the Bahamas, with temperatures ranging from 10 – 20°C in June.

Simulation activity in Queensland is rapidly expanding, with new helicopter simulators, Combined Training Centre exercises, mining and construction simulators to add to the existing defence, civil aviation, rail and healthcare training centres.

Conference Venue

The Centre is conveniently located in the South Bank Precinct 17-hectare riverside ‘city oasis’, unique for its focus on creative, cultural, entertainment and lifestyle activities. Delegates and partners can relax and enjoy South Bank’s many attractions, including:

Floorplan

The floorplan has been designed to ensure good visibility and access to all stands. Maximum traffic flow will be encouraged by the placement of catering stations at key points in the exhibition areas as well as by constant referral at Conference sessions.

Exhibition Details

The Exhibition will be held in the Brisbane Convention Centre. The floorplan has been designed to ensure good visibility and access to all stands. Maximum traffic flow will be encouraged by the placement of catering stations at key points in the exhibition areas as well as by constant referral.

The Welcome Reception will be held in and around the Exhibition.

There are a maximum of TBD exhibition booths available and all morning, afternoon teas and lunches will be held in the Exhibition areas.

Move-in / Move-out times

Move in: Sunday 3 June 2007 from 1300
Move out: Thursday 7 June 2007 from 1400

Exhibition staff will be on site during the Sunday exhibitor move-in period to ensure that the final exhibitor's requirements can be met.

Application

The Application Form is available from the back of the Sponsorship and Exhibition Brochure.

Early booking is necessary, as space is limited. Priority will be given to financial SIAA Full Members, and confirmed sponsors, by allocating space to them on 24 November 2006. Space will be allocated to other exhibitors after that date. Within these two categories, booths will be allocated strictly in order of the date the deposit payment

Cancellation Policy

In the case of cancellation of a booth/s please be advised that unless the organisers are able to resell the booth/s there will be no refund on monies paid. If the balance payment on the booth/s is not received by the due date, the allocated booth/s will be cancelled.

Deposit deadline: 50% by return mail      Balance deadline: 10 March 2007

Please enclose a cheque in Australian Dollars payable to SimTecT and forward, along with this completed form to the SimTecT 2007 Conference Secretariat, Consec.
